Claire's 3 Year & Anna's 1 1/2 Year Photos

In late July, we had Claire's 3 year and Anna's 1.5 year pictures taken at the Dayton Art Institute. Almost exactly eleven years ago, Ben & I were married at the Dayton Art Institute and our wedding pictures were taken in the same spots. It was so neat to go back with our girls! The DAI is a very special and sentimental place for us. It truly felt like we were coming full circle having photos taken there of all FOUR of us!

Princess Party FUN!

We had so much fun celebrating our THREE year old! It was a really nice, cool July day. We had planned on going swimming, but the weather was a bit too chilly for that. We had a great time, nonetheless! Claire is definitely worth celebrating!!
This princess has attitude!
It has been our tradition since Claire's 1st birthday to have a bouncy house at her party! This year I finally broke down and purchased one! I figured we'd use it for many more birthday parties!

The kids LOVE bouncing! Landon, Anna & Noah having fun!!

Deanna & adorable Miss Olivia!

Claire had so much fun at her party and talked about it for days afterward!

Gotta love the parachute!

Fun times!

Cake & Gifts!

Some cute shots of Claire opening up gifts and blowing out her candles!!
She thought it was great when everyone was singing 'Happy Birthday' to her!

Blowing out her candles! I love Caroline's face!!

Enjoying her birthday cake!

Time to open gifts!!

The cash register from Aunt Beth was a hit!

Grammy & Papa gave Claire two frogs and a snail! She named the frogs Wilbur & Cassie and the snail was named Baby Caroline (don't dare drop the "baby" part of the name... I made that mistake!). Everyone was very intrigued with this fun & unique gift! Thanks to everyone for all the great gifts!!

Friends & Family

The birthday princess with her family!!

All the cousins!!

Princess Party

The theme of Claire's 3rd birthday party was "Princess"! We didn't do the Disney princess theme, but rather more a fairy tale princess. Claire is really into dressing up in her tutu's & crowns and dancing around, so the theme fit perfectly for her this year! She is, without a doubt, our sweet, little princess!
Our princess likes to swing!

Pretty Princess!

The cupcakes had the number "3" on them!

Claire LOVED her castle cake! I was so happy with the way it turned out AND it was delicious!
