1st Bowling Adventure

Today we took the girls bowling for the first time. I bought Claire a little bowling set for Christmas and she loves it so I knew she would enjoy REAL bowling. I was right, both girls had a great time and really got into it! It was cute to see their excitement and cheer one another along. Their enthusiasm is contagious! We will definitely be making a return visit to the bowling alley!
This photo depicts just a little of Claire's excitement after she bowled and knocked down some pins. It was so cute!

Such a big girl and a pretty good bowler, too!

Grammy & Claire clapping after a great frame!

Look at Anna's little bowling shoes... how cute is that?!?

Papa teaching Anna all his bowling techniques! Her Great-Grandpa Cutting bowled a perfect 300 game once and had a big ring to prove it! Bowling skills run in the family!

So much fun!

Anna's 2 Year & Claire's 3 1/2 Year Photos

Here are Anna's 2 year & Claire's 3 1/2 year professional photos. My friend and co-worker, Staci Hedke, took them for me! I couldn't be happier with the way they turned out! My one hope was that there would be SNOW on the ground and thankfully, we had a beautiful covering! When I look at these I can't help but feel so blessed! Thank you, Lord, for the amazing gifts of Claire & Anna!

Anna's 2 Year Well Check

I took Anna to her 2 year well check today with our pediatrician. She is doing great. She's right on track for her age! She is 28 lbs 11 oz (73rd %tile), 37 inches or 3 feet 1 inch (98th %tile), and she's in the 75th for head circumference. Anna has been in the 95th percentile or higher for her length since she was 6 months old. Dr. Denen said that's a pretty good indicator that she's going to be a very tall girl! Mommy is hoping she stays under the 6 foot mark, but even if she's taller than that, I pray she'll use her height to do great things! The verse we picked out for Anna when she was a newborn is Psalm 139:14- I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made, your works are wonderful and I know that full well.

Sledding Adventure

Daddy wanted to go sledding with us so we headed back to Grammy & Papa's for our sledding adventure! We enjoyed having the boys sled with us this time!

Claire going down the big hill!

A big smile for me at the bottom!

Papa & Claire... fast & furious!

I love how Anna's mouth is wide open! She thoroughly enjoyed sledding!

Daddy is a kid at heart!

Grammy & Papa with the snow bunnies!

Mouth wide open again... sooooo much fun!

Claire insisted that we bring her shovel so she could help Papa shovel the snow!!!

Snow Fun

Ben bought the girls a kid sized shovel so yesterday afternoon I let Claire "shovel" the sidewalk! She loved thinking she was helping Daddy and couldn't wait for him to get home to show him!
