Recently some of my Facebook friends posted pictures from my wedding and it was so fun to reminisce on my special day! I had several requests to post my pictures so I am. My wedding was pre-digital so I actually just took pictures of the images with my camera. Needless to say, the quality is poor. I think I am going to invest in having my pictures professionally transferred to a disc. Anyway, our wedding and reception were at the Dayton Art Institute on July 25, 1998. It truly was a perfect day right down to the perfect weather! I expected a hot and humid July day, but instead it was 75 degrees with bright blue skies and big, fluffy clouds with a light breeze! I could not have asked for a greater day! I should take this opportunity to thank my parents for paying (dad) and planning (mom) my wedding! You guys made my dream wedding a reality! THANK YOU!!! Oh yeah... and I also married the most amazing man on the planet! My high school sweetheart and best friend! He is my soul mate and I am so thankful he is MINE! I love you, Ben!

I loved this picture! I had an amazing photographer that was inexpensive and so nice. I actually took care of him a few years ago after his shoulder surgery. It was so nice to reconnect with him. This was idea with the flowers around my head!
I got some comments that this picture looks like it should be in an ad for Crest! This is one of my favorite wedding pictures (weird that it includes my brothers, huh?!), but I love how candid it is and it's just us!!

My grandparents (dad's parents), Edd & Helen McDowell. My grandpa died the next year and I miss him terribly. I was fortunate though to have all four of my grandparents at my wedding! Such a blessing!
Ben's grandparents (mom's parents), Ed & Doris Shepherd. Grandma Shepherd died the following year as well. She is truly missed. It was such a miracle that she was even able to make it from the Akron area to our wedding!
