Popcorn Festival

The Popcorn Festival was so much fun! It was a beautiful day to be outside and we enjoyed all the festival food and fun activities!

Claire & Anna had a blast during their free tumbling demonstration!

Future Fire Women of America!

LOVE our festivals!

Holiday at Home

Our hometown has a great parade and festival on Labor Day called 'Holiday at Home'. Here are some pictures from the parade!
The girls had front row seats!

The University of Dayton marching band. Go Flyers!!!

We loved all the animal rescue groups in the parade! A cause very close to our hearts!

A soldier gave Claire a piece of candy (you can see her hand stretched out!).

We LOVE festival food!

Young's

We made a trip to Young's Dairy awhile back! Usually it's way too busy for our liking, but this was a fairly calm Saturday at the dairy farm!! Ready to GOOOO!
The corn pit was a big hit with the girls!

Not surprisingly... the friendly, black, barn cat was the biggest attraction! Poor kitty!

Not sure if these carts were really made for folks over 100 pounds!

The girls had fun though!

Gotta feed the goats!

Curious George Party

Grammy & I took the girls to our local library for a birthday party for Curious George (one of our favorite book characters!). There was storytime and then crafts, snacks and even party favors! It was really cute!! What could be more perfect for a monkey's birthday party than frozen bananas dipped in chocolate for a snack?
As you can see... my girls enjoyed it!

Playing a game!

Doing a craft... coloring a George mask!

Anna was so proud of her mask!

Claire is very serious about her craft time... really serious!

Claire's "George face"!

Happy Birthday, George!

This picture cracks me up! Claire had a phone up to her ear, chatting with whoever while picking out library books! Such a multi-tasker!

Of course, no trip to the library is complete without a visit with Ginger, the Guinea Pig!

Good Bye!

Fishing Fun

This summer, Ben was able to take the girls fishing about a half a dozen times. Usually when I was working at the hospital. It's been a fun bonding time for Daddy & his girls! Here are some cute photos from a couple of their fishing outings!
I LOVE these pictures of Claire fishing on her own at sunset (with the duckies swimming in the background). Just perfect!
