My Turkeys

My good friend, Cynetta, snapped these photos for me last week at the Dayton Art Institute!! I love the way they turned out. My two turkeys!!!

Happy Thanksgiving

I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I love this time of year and Thanksgiving is one of my favorite Holidays! I am thankful for my salvation and to live in a country where I can freely express my beliefs and share God's love without risk of harm. I am so grateful for my loving husband, my sweet girls, wonderful parents and great in-laws. I couldn't ask for more! I am truly blessed beyond measure!

Family Reunion

We made the trek to the great state of Kentucky for our annual family reunion! Although none of us actually live there anymore, my family still owns quite a bit of land in the Paintsville area and some of the braver family members camp out on the Lemaster property! We had fun even though our trip was cut short due to sickness! Hopefully next year we will be healthier! Claire got to swim twice during our stay & Anna once! It was the highlight of our time there! Claire especially enjoyed going back and forth between the cold pool and the hot pool!!
The best part for me was being able to spend time with all my family that I don't see often (Shawn, Kristen & kids came in from Illinois!).

More swimming... she probably spent close to 4 hours in the pool total!

Claire swimming with Connor & Jillian!

In pool heaven!

All the little cousins hiding from Connor!

Some of the fam playing games!

More of the family talking and eating... what we do BEST!

Lauren running with the little kids!! They had such a blast!

So intent!

A cute group shot of some of the cousins!

Claire and Tayler played so well together! Sweet girls!

Trick-or-Treat

We had a beautiful evening for begger's night! The girls quickly got the hang of asking politely for candy!

We got lots of comments on our hamburger & fries!!

After some trick-or-treating in our neighborhood, we went to Grammy's house for more!

Eating some of our loot with Aunt Bethie!

Pre Trick-or-Treat

Before we went trick-or-treating, we had dinner at Nuna's house! It was fun to be with everyone and eat some delicious food! Thanks, Nuna! Mommy & Daddy with their Happy Meal!

My Mom always does such a nice job of making everything look and feel so festive!
Nuna even dressed up as a clown... the kids thought that was pretty funny!

Nuna the Clown with her four youngest grandkids (we were so sad that the oldest three couldn't be with us).

Do French Fries get any cuter??

Claire pretended to be eating one of the fries!!

Claire the Hamburger with her side of fries!

Grammy & Papa got to be with us, too!

My parents with the girls!

We were so glad my Grandma McDowell could be apart of the festivities!
