Family Hike

Uncle Brad & Aunt Sharon were in town from Atlanta for Aunt Beth's wedding and stayed the weekend. We enjoyed our time with them while they were here. It was a beautiful fall weekend so we decided to take a family hike at a local reserve!

Grammy and her sister Aunt Mary. She was in town from Washington state. It's always fun to see her... one of the sweetest people we know!

A ginormous tree!

Ben, Brad & the Sophster!

Tree Swing

This summer, Ben hung a very cool disc swing from one of our trees in the backyard. Claire just can't get enough of this swing! She thinks it is so much fun and loves the way it twirls her around!

It's the simple things in life!

Birthday Party

Ben took the girls to the 3rd birthday party of friends, Joey & Alex. Their mother actually babysat with Ben when he was little and their grandparents still live behind us. The girls had fun at the Cowboy themed party and really enjoyed riding the ponies, Cupcake & Princess!

The twins mom made a pretty cool cake for the boys' birthday!

Not a great picture, but the only one taken of the twins blowing out their candles!

Trunk or Treat

We had Trunk or Treat at AWANA tonight. The girls had fun getting dressed up in the costume of their choosing! I was able to get a few cute pics of the girls before we left for church! My Fairy Princess and my Kitty Cat. Don't dare call her a Cheetah.

Meow!

She picked this out completely on her own. Down to the slippers, tiara, wand and princess purse. She is so funny and GIRLY!

Trunk or Treat Part II

The girls decorating their treat bags!

I had to take a pic of my friend, Deanna, with her kids, Landon & Olivia. They came dressed as Peter Pan, Tinker Bell and Wendy. Too cute and so creative!

The girls with Cubbie Bear!

Anna getting candy from Mrs. Kubina! She did a great job decorating her trunk!

The girls with Claire's Sunday School teacher, Miss Missy, and her husband Paul. They got the prize for best decorated trunk with a 50's Diner theme. They even dressed up to match the theme. So clever!

Grammy & Papa passed out candy! The girls loved seeing them!

The cousins! I love how Catherine has her shirt pulled up!

Claire's Cubbie class and the class I am a leader in! Such cuties! What a fun evening!

Fall Festival

Ben took the girls to Claire's pre-school Fall Festival on Sunday evening while I was working. He didn't take near enough pictures (haha!!), but he got a few! They had a lot of fun and got way too much candy!
The girls doing a craft!

The girls each got a snow cone. Anna (clearly) chose blue and Claire got red!

Dancing to the music!

Fall Adventure

Ben & I took the girls to Adventure Acres for some fall FUN! It was a great evening to be outside and enjoy all the fall festivities!

Aye Aye, Matey!

The girls spent a lot of time running through the maze!

Punkin' Patch!

The highlight for Claire using the corn blaster!

Grandma McDowell

I know I say it a lot, but I wouldn't trade our time with Grandma McDowell for anything! My girls and I truly enjoy our lunch dates with her!
I think I am going to make a photo book of all our photos with Grandma! She will love it!

Playing games outside on a beautiful day!

Puzzles

Claire has always enjoyed putting puzzles together, but recently she REALLY has gotten into puzzles. She does a great job and I love spending quality time with her as we put them together!
Claire's favorite puzzle is a Snow White puzzle we found at the dollar store!

She means business when it comes to her puzzles!

Anna even helps out!

Showing off the finished puzzle! She is always so proud of her accomplishment!

Cousins

This post is sort of a hodge-podge of cousin pictures from the last couple weeks. My girls truly enjoy spending with their cousins more than anybody else in the world. They think their big cousins are the coolest people around and that their little cousins are the funnest! I am so thankful that they have their cousins so close by!
On October 1st, Caroline turned FOUR! She had a super fun party at a pottery shop where all the kids painted a piece of pottery!!

Having a blast as they painted!

Claire and I made a special frame for Caroline with stickers that spelled out both girls' names and Claire was able to leave a spoken message for Caroline that she can play over and over!

I think Caroline loved her gift!

Caroline & Catherine came over yesterday and the girls had so much fun playing in the leaves! Oh, the simplicity of life when you're a child! It is so sweet to witness.

A leaf fight!

This is quite possibly my favorite photo of all time! I love the expressions on their faces! PRICELESS!

Cute little cousins!

Today we went to Caroline's last soccer game. Claire has been begging to go and she was Caroline's biggest cheerleader!

Some of the cousins snuggled up watching a movie in Uncle Shawn & Aunt Kristen's bed!
