Yesterday we made a VERY quick trip up to Akron for Ben's cousins wedding. Brian married his high school sweetheart, Jen, during a beautiful wedding ceremony! It was such a pretty day for a wedding! Claire was a trooper during a very long day of traveling and activities. Thankfully we made great time there and back and were able to get make each way in about 3 hours. Of course, Claire fell asleep 10 minutes before we arrived and only slept an hour on the way back. Despite her lack of sleep she was very pleasant and a little slap happy! We had a great time and wished that we had more time to visit with Ben's other side of the family. We will come to visit again SOON!

This picture is at the reception right before we left. I changed Claire into a sleeper for the ride home! Claire is with Grammy, Grammy's sister Debbie (also the mother of the groom) and Claire's great-great Aunts (Grandma Shepherd's sisters!).

Between the wedding and the reception we quickly celebrated Aunt Mary's birthday! They flew in from Washington for the wedding. Hope you had a wonderful birthday Mary... so glad we could spend it with you!

It looks like you had a wonderful time! I'm sure all of the family loved seeing Claire! What a good little girl she was...those road trips can be so long for active babies!
I know you had a whirlwind trip, but it sounds like Claire did quite well travelling in the daytime. I know how wonderful it is to see family from all over. Families are blessings to each of us. Claire looks like she was in the wedding with her pretty dress.
