On Saturday I worked at the hospital, so Ben, Grammy & Papa took the girls to Wegerzyn Gardens and Boonshoft for the Gourds & Ghouls Festival. Ben actually planned and organized this field trip while mommy was away! They all had a lot of fun and enjoyed the Fall festivities!
Showing off Claire's 'Voyage on the Parkway Passport'. Every time she completed an activity she got a stamp on her passport!
Anna enjoyed the "what's that sound" activity tent!
Playing with the hay!
Such a big girl sitting on the bus!
Daddy & Claire making a scarecrow!

It was fun to run into Ben at the fun festival for a minute. Wish we could've seen you too. It was such a nice festival. Beckett wasn't as into the activities as Claire...he had more fun just running through the gardens. Oh, the differences between boys and girls!! Your girls are both so cute and I can't believe how grown up Claire is getting. We need to get our families together....maybe for dinner or something...it's been way too long.

What a beautiful day for this! The girls look so cute in their matching outfits!!!
Kudos to daddy Ben for planning a fall day of activities for his girls. It always helps to have Grandma & Papa along for extra help! And, of course, grandparents don't want to miss out on those fun days. (We are just the same with our two granddaughters.) It sure looks like it was a super fun time for all, with new experiences for Claire to remember. Love the straw ~ somehow they always bring a little home in their shoes and socks!!! Hard on mommy, when she didn't get to go along and have fun, but nice to know that while you are working your family is enjoying a fall day. ~ Grammy Barb
