Ben's Aunt Mary, her husband Fazel and their two boys Michael & Matthew came in from Washington state for Grandpa Shepherd's 80th birthday celebration in Columbus over the weekend. Afterward, they drove to Grammy & Grandpa's house and spent several days with them. We visited with them a couple times since we don't get to see them often. We keep saying when Claire is a little older we will have to make a trip out to Port Angeles, Washington to visit. They live in a beautiful house on the Pacific Ocean. Ben & I were able visit them a couple years ago and would love to go back!

That's quite a compliment to Grandpa for them to come all that way from Washington. It is always wonderful to see family that live so far away.

What a great time with family! I know they were able to see Claire soon after she was born, but now they really had a chance to see her cute personality! She has changed so much since they last saw her!!!!!
Ben's Grandpa must have been SO pleased to have them come from such a distance! Glad you got to have an extended visit with them.
